London & Middlesex Bank

London & Middlesex Bank (1862-3), established in the City of London, was a past constituent of NatWest.

Brief history

This joint stock bank was established in Finch Lane, London, in 1862, with a paid up capital of £75,000. It acquired deposits and staff from Unity Joint Stock Mutual Banking Association which was wound up in 1862. By 1863 the bank had two West End branches and a Woolwich branch. In that year was acquired by London & Westminster Bank.
